If you have an AP, but decide to book a regular package instead, how can you save your park tickets for another trip since they are on you KTTW card?
When we go in June, I'm planning to upgrade to APs for just myself and 7 yo DS because I'm taking him back in Dec for a Mom and Me trip (did this with 15 yo DS when he was that age, and plan to do it with DD when she is a bit older)

So if at another time, before our APs expire, what if we book a good deal as a family? I'd go ahead and do a good package, hoping to save the tickets that came with it for future use after our APs expire.
How would this work?
Do you save the KTTW card your tickets are attached to??

If I'm being confusing, here's an example:

Family Trip June 2010 upgrading two tickets to AP
AP trip in December 2010
Possible future family trip in early 2011 before two APs expire. would purchase package for family, use APs during the trip, save two sets of tix for future.

We did this in October when the lady booked me with a package instead of my AP rate without me knowing! They only required us to purchase a 1 day pass for each person (about $84??), but they never expire as long as you never use the one day on there. So, you can use it to renew your AP or purchase tickets or use the $84 towards other tickets if you don't get another AP. Or give/sell it to someone you know who doesn't have an AP. Yes, you do save your KTTW card. I just put it in the same pocket as my AP so I always know where it is.

You can also go to guest relations at the parks and have them take it off of your KTTW card and give you an actual paper ticket.....

I have had good luck and bad luck trying to get a CM to do this!! If they won't at least mark the old room key that it's a 1 day pass with a sharpie!!

Thanks. I knew about the one day pass purchase, I was thinking more about if we had something like a 4/3 deal and I wanted to go ahead and pay the package price and save the 7 day ticket to use for later...Sounds like I can do that just by saving my KTTW card(s).
We wouldn't likely renew our APs as this is the only year we'll go twice.
