? about antenna toppers

I recently switched to a sorceror Mickey topper. Now my antenna is bending a LOT more. We used to have the red white and blue Mickey.

Is it normal for the antenna to bend a lot? Any suggestions on how to stop it?

Seriously, I am up and down the parkway all the time, and my antenna bends, but I don't think it's a serious problem.

DH took his off because it was bending and he didn't like it. Me, I don't know if it's bending or not, because my antenna is in the back.

It just bends about twice as far as my old one. That's why I wondered if anyone else noticed this.

We just got a new car and are thrilled to have an antenna!!! Our one didn't have the outside type, it was integrated into the windshield. So.....now we need to get down to WDW to get some!! I never thought about the darn thing bending. Does it stay bent? Or only when you're driving?

We have the sorcerer Mickey topper, and don't have a problem with the antenna bending. Though my sister has a Goofy head and her antenna bends quite a bit.

I have the sorcerer mickey topper and mine only bends when I am traveling on the interstate at faster speeds. It always straightens out when I stop.

Sorry didn't answer quicker. Was camping with scouts all weekend.

Our roads are state highways, so the typical traveling speed is about 50 to 60. The antenna pops right back when we slow down or stop. Sounds like it's pretty normal. Maybe the sorceror is just enough bigger that it's noticable.

Goofy4tink, we have found some at Wal Mart and at the local Disney store, so you don't have to buy them at WDW (of course, if you need an excuse for a trip....)

We have had Mickey toppers on our current van and the older one. Over 2 yrs at this point. I'veonly noticed the antenna bending if we were driving down the interstate! Currently, we have the Stitch antenna hugger towards the base of the antenna and the Halloween Mickey at the top! We just put that one on after having the Sorcerer Mickey on since summer.

We had one topper stolen and it broke my heart. When we got new cars I took clear fishing line and threaded it through all our toppers. Now they hang inside from the rearview mirror. If you think it bends too much you could try that.
