? about american girl retirements

When american girl retires a doll,do they retire all the accessories? DD is getting Felicity for Christmas and I would like to have all the books for her but not sure if I can wait til the first of the year to buy them. Thanks!

I don't believe they retire the books. Not SURE on that but I know you can still buy Samantha books at places like Barnes and Noble and they are the same price as current doll books. They probably had them in the AG store but we didn't make it over there to look at books last time. The only books I have heard of them discontinuing is the big "all in one" book where it has six books in one. I heard they stopped doing them. I think you'd be fine to wait on the books.
