This is our first trip to a value. We've always stayed mod or deluxe.
What is the current condition of Music? Which building would you suggest as a favorite? First, we want to be close to the pool, then food court and transportation.
Thanks.

We just stayed at All Star Music in March. Music is in great shape. Beds were comfortable. Room was immaculate. Stay in Calypso to be closest to the big pool.

Our last stay there was in January. We stayed in Broadway, which is nice and quiet, but pretty far from the food court/buses. Our first stay there was several years ago and in the Jazz section. This was close to the food court without having to pay for a preferred room. I would pick Jazz again if I had a choice. We like music the best out of the 3 all-stars, but Pop is our favorite value resort.

I have stayed at ASMu 2x in the last 2 years. The resort is in great condition, we never found anything wrong. I stayed in Jazz both times. It is the closest section to the main building and the pool that isn't considered preferred.

We stayed in Broadway. It is a little walk to the main pool & food court, but at least you're close to the piano pool. We were there in November and the piano pool was never that crowded. As for the room, it was always cleaned by the time we came back from the parks. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they were clean and we weren't there that much anyway.

We stayed in Country Fair in December. It is the furthest from the food court, but is right beside the Piano Pool. We had requested this building since it is at the back of the resort it is the most quiet building.

We stayed in March, and we in the the Country Fair, which was nice and quiet, which was good considering the cheerleaders in the pool. But at the end of the day, we had quite a hike from the bus. We counted one pool...fountain...other pool..we're almost there! Two more rooms and we would have been the farthest away. But It was great. We never would have noticed alot of the little things!

Loved Music. We stayed in Jazz, but on the back side of the bldg. There was little to no noise there. It was about a 2 minute walk to the pool and an addtl. minute to the food court and bus stop.
It was in fine condition. Some of the best mousekeeping we've ever had at WDW too.

We just spent two days at All Star Country before heading to Animal Kingdom Lodge for a week. If you are used to mod or deluxe, be prepared for a SMALL room. The beds were doubles, the fridge was tiny, the bathtub was small, (the soap is in a locker room dispencer on the wall) and it was not as clean as the AKL. It wasn't a bad stay, but I have to say I was very relieved to head to AKL! You can certainly see the price difference! With two kids who don't like to sleep in the same bed and an overpacking mother, we were cramped and didn't sleep well. All in all, just know what to expect and you'll be fine. We had a blast! :earsgirl:
