??? about AK adr for breakfastasaurus

I have adr's for AK breakfast on March 21, @ 8:20.
According to disney website, park hours that day are 9-6.
We are not staying on site this time, so will they let us in????
And if they will let us in, where do we park, how do we get there???? Because i had read that the parking lot won't open until the park opens?????

Please help!!!

They start serving breakfast at aBreakfastosaurus at 8:00 so the parking lot will be open for you to get in in plenty of time. Just park in the regular parking lot like any other day. There is a special line, usually off to the right with CM's in Restarauntosaurus uniforms to check you in and take you back to Donald's. If by chance you finish breakfast before park opening time they just hold you back in the roped off area until they drop the ropes.

You may have a problem. AK does not open the parking lot until 35-40 minutes before park opening to the public. Even if it is EMH day, they do not open the parking lot for that. I've asked and the toll booth CMs said that there is no need to open the parking lot early because "only people from offsite drive to the parks".

We (and many others on the DIS) have been stuck waiting at the toll booth.

I agree with Ed about the parking lot at the AK. We were given bad info from our front desk a couple of years ago that there were no early buses for breakfast (imagine bad tranportation info from a CM!!!! ). We were told to take a taxi for our early breakast with Donald. The driver told us to expect trouble since earlier that week he had to let his passengers out before the AK booths so they could take a Disney bus. We were fortunate that the CM at the booth that day gave in a let the cars through....it was quite a line of cars. Bottom line is that unless you take a Disney bus the chances of getting to Donald's for breakfast before the AK opens is really small. You may want to change to another time.

I have read this many times too that getting into the parking lot is a problem if you don't use Disney transportation.

We personally haven't had a problem with driving in for a seating before the park opened, but there have been many stories about it happening on this board.

I was told no early busses on my last trip so I had to take a $15 cab ride over to the Poly. You can guess how thrilled I was when we passed a early bus on the way

I did the breakfast at AK with 8:00 am adrs in 2002 while staying off site. All we had to do is tell the guy in the booth about our adr and he let us in at about 7:50 in the morning.. There were CM's at the entrance of AK to take us back to breakfast. We had no problems.
