Probably a stupid ? but I have to ask...
what are my chances of getting $ refunded on a plane ticket that is now on sale. I only purchased the tickets on Monday and now they are on sale for 89.00 one way. Does Airtran ever give even a credit for the difference? Any insight is welcome.

TIA-

They probably will but, only IF the fare code is the same, the flights are the same and the dates are the same. Best bet, call them.

Song airlines gave me a credit voucher for each of our four seats. The fare dropped $24 per seat at one point. They couldn't just put a credit on the credit card because they are non-refundable seats. The vouchers are good for one year and must be used by the person who has that seat. So we may or may not get benefit from it. But definitely call Airtran and ask!

Air Tran will give you a credit that has to be used for future travel. You don't get a voucher, you just have to present your original confirmation #, (mine has the credit right on the confirmation)...
I called yesterday to ask for an $18 credit on two tickets as the fare went down from PHL to BOS for my nephew's graduation.
When I went back on line, I saw the credit $36 right on my account. I now just have to remember that I have the credit......
