Abdominal aortic aneurysm-experience?UPDATE post 17, surgery went well

I am a Surgical ICU nurse and what the PPs have said regarding the blood pressure control are correct..initially the blood pressure should be fairly low with a systolic BP around 120 then they allow it to rise and regulate on its own... but he will (if he has high blood pressure) need to be on blood pressure medications to keep him under control....

Glad to hear everything went well and glad to see that you have a good nurse to help your FIL through this... being in the ICU can be scary in itself.... please keep us posted
