In the past for our trips, the vacationistas have often referred me back to the ABD website if they were not familiar with recent postings or changes.

For the last three weeks, the "special offers" section of the website lists a great deal for Quest for the West and other North America adventures, as long as you book before May 25, 2011. Yep, 2011.

It seems like its not just the pre-trip boxes that are a bit behind.

:rotfl:

Actually, I just called them yesterday with an issue on the website. For the new Central Europe trip, when you view the map, and then click on the "day" indicators (day 1-2) the descriptions that come up still have the headers from the Italy/Switzerland trip (Stresa Highlights, Como highlights, Zermatt Highlights, etc). It looks like they cut-and-pasted a lot of stuff, and didn't take the time to proof-read. :confused3 I wonder why they were so rushed.

I wonder if ABD monitors these boards - because now the error is fixed! No more 2011 special trips posted.

Maybe they will address the crummy backpack issue later in the season?

I don't know if they "monitor" it here, but I know ABD does *read* us!

I sure hope they catch on about the backpacks. I'm definitely mentioning it in my survey!

We received one of those "crummy" backpacks and I don't think it was that bad. I just think it was a nice thought. We have traveled with other "family" guided tour companies and ABD does more as far as gifts than the others. We have piles of backpacks and bags and after a while "no mas....no mas".....:lmao:

I agree.

I think the backpack..whether you like it or you don't...is just a bonus.

I'm hoping that no one booked an Adventure based on getting a backpack.

I too noticed the 2011 offer a couple of weeks ago. It's gone now. ;)
