Is anyone (other than Pete & Walter) extending the Disneyland portion of their trip??

I'll be in the Parks Friday evening through Sunday afternoon and would love to meet up with any DISers that are still around.

We are staying the weekend. Yeah!!! Let's get together. We don't have many plans yet. Pam

We'll only be there the length of the trip - we couldn't quite pull off the additional vacation days or cost of the extra days with the fairly short notice. We are staying as late as possible on Friday night though.

Luce, Sorry for the delay in answering. Anne's bro the priest is home from Nashville and there is a lot going on. She left before 7 this morning with her mom, 3 sisters and John for an out of town event. But, our res is for 6:20 at WCT with our daughter and son-in-law. He works for the Anaheim power company and she works nearby also. Hope we can see you at dinner and go to WOC. About the quilt stores. You buy a bag for $20 and get a book of the quilt shop hop stores. Each one of the 15 stops stamps your book when you visit. If you go to them all in about 2 weeks, you could win $75 GC from every store plus each one has their own basket drawing work $50-$200. Of course we get to see a lot fabric! But it was interesting to talk with the owners about business and see some great scenery around Lake Superior and inland. We took your hints and aired out our backpacks. About MM. Anne has been training for the rope drop. She was in her sch dist's healthy walking challenge and she walked 535miles in 10 weeks this spring, though low on her team, she was easily the oldest. That is a great feat in our spring weather. Her team won and got a cash prize. She is ready for the rope drop outside the GC park entrance at 9:45. Don't forgot there are no fast passes for MM at DLR. Go early and go often. Alan

We're booked for the WOC dining package at Ariel's Grotto. We have at 7:20 reservation for 9 adults (under my name: Christy Nasworthy). We'll receive our WOC tickets after the meal. I asked about location (avoiding the heat and water) and was told that we would be able to pick our spot. He suggested we get there at 10:00 to get a good spot for the 10:15 show. I would think earlier but we can play it by ear.

I did not receive any type of confirmation number. Is that normal for Disneyland dining? I'm so used to WDW and having multiple confirmation numbers to keep up with...

Christy, can you please add me to your WOC group at Ariel's? (I really must keep up with these posts.) I definitely want to join you.

I'm also ariving late Friday before the tour and staying through the weekend after the tour.

Star Tours will be closing for it's refurb during our tour (the last day is July 26), so I though I would get in my last rides on Saturday the 24th.

FYI...Our time has changed for the PS. The only time they had available for a party of 10 was at 8:30.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. It's been a magical day and trip so far. LOL - I guess the ABD trip would be my present to myself! My husband gave me some nice things for my birthday and took me to a wonderful dinner!
