I think for a lot of the "couples" going - one will be a disney nut and one will be the poor, long suffering soul in for the ride. Mum loves Disney but she's no where near as crazy about it as I am

You may be surprised how much your Mum enjoys this trip. We had a couple of "conversions" on our tour.

ABD sends out a box of "goodies" approximately 30 - 45 days prior to departure.

OH - lets hope ABD gets the stuff out to Paula in NZ early - would be a great shame to miss the 'stuff'!!

Hopefully it arrives before we leave.

We often get DVC stuff before people in the US so it depends where they ship it from... well all except the AGM meeting info - we usually get that a few weeks AFTER the AGM

One day closer. I'm really looking forward to going to the Studios, Griffith Park Disneyland and California Adventure for the first time.

As I recall, during our adventure we'll get fast passes when break for the day. Does anyone know how many? I was looking at the Crown Calender and it looks like every day is a low 9 on our Adventure.

Being this is our first ABD trip, I'm really hoping ABD can convince me why they are worth the money. DCL has convinced me, so I have high hopes for ABD.

Can't wait to start our adventure!

Being this is our first ABD trip, I'm really hoping ABD can convince me why they are worth the money. DCL has convinced me, so I have high hopes for ABD.

You WILL be convinced almost immediately that ABD is worth every penny! The level of service and pampering and comfort blew me away immediately, and all of the things we get to do that aren't open to the public are worth every penny as well. The worst thing about ABD is that once you go, you're going to be so spoiled by them that you want to go back again and again. Kinda like DCL but way more.

For some reason I don't remember how many fast passes we received each day. I do remember that with so few FP-eligible attractions in DL and DCA that we sometimes had a wee bit of a challenge using them up, particularly on days that ABD had us involved for much of the day and evening (and were taking us on many attractions as well).

I would rather not say how many fast passes they give you in the event they change it. You will be convinced rather quickly why ABD is worth the money.

Would me going on my third Backstage Magic trip convince you? It's the best!!! Can't say enough about it & the Guides (like Michael/Jaime!!). Have a magical time! You really will!!!

Its about the only thing that got me through this week at work. We started our transition to "store of the future" a whole bunch of people were told their jobs were eliminated and now Im starting to have to hire for the new jobs we have created. The morale is low, but knowing that once we go live with this that I go on vacation to "meca" 5 days later is making it almost bearable. That and wine.
