We're watching our new kitties alternate between sleeping and running around like maniacs, and we're doing chores around the house. Exciting stuff! I also plan to try doing a lot more editing of my July ABD trip photos, now that I have a new laptop that hopefully won't crash every few minutes.

Congratulations on your kittens! That's good "mews"! We have been tossing the idea of getting a cat, too, but we're not quite there yet. All we're doing is catching up on some rest after the first full week of school. Were you able to recover your pictures after the crashes? I hope so, because you got so many great shots! What kind of laptop did you get?

Lots of fun at our house. We're getting new flooring upstairs, so EVERYTHING has to move out. Amazing how much stuff you accumulate that has nor real purpose in life.

I am laying around at home with what appears to be a sinus infection. I had so many plans to be productive this weekend -- and I just can't manage much of anything! So frustrating.

However, I just grabbed the mail (from yesterday - in my medicated stupor I forgot it) and my Disneyland planning DVD came. I have been to Disneyland twice in the last two years, but only for a day and then a day and a half respectively. I'm going to watch this afternoon and see all the stuff I missed.

Hope everyone else is having a fun weekend.

Our two cats have been a bit nuts too - must be the cooler fall weather!

This weekend is a mixed bag: yesterday was dentist for me but also shopping for new jeans after successfully getting rid of 20+ lbs!! Woot!!! (Wearing the old ones was just getting silly - started humming 'Pants On the Ground'!!). Also as a reward for actually going to the dentist bought the autobiography of one of my fave guys on TV, Craig Ferguson. (currently host of the Late Late Show on CBS - most known I think for being Mr. Wick, Drew's boss on the Drew Carey Show). Spent most of last night reading it - really well written

Today - some work and laundry. Maybe a walk later to enjoy the lovely fall day we are having

The DH? Football, football and more football. NFL and CFL. And keeping up on the 5 (yes, FIVE) fantasy leagues he's in. He might be a little obsessed. And hockey season hasn't even started yet. Sigh.

Anyone have big plans for next weekend? So far I think the DH and I are heading out to have dinner, play pool and a do a bit of gaming at one of the local casinos - maybe hit the local big farmers market.

Back at it bright and early tomorrow - teaching more Geography of Canada, eh

My weekend was great. Got to go see family in St. Louis. Saw my first game at the new Busch Stadium. Cards lost, but the beer drinking, middle aged, bitterly divorced flock of hens behind me managed to set a new consumption record for section 134!

Now it's tuesday and back to work!

Thanks for the congrats! We'd been missing our poor departed kitties for a while, and finally were going to be home and slightly more settled long enough to adopt new kitties. I have been able to recover the photos, and the cropping I already did appears to have survived. All the keywords I tagged onto each photo are gone - I had another huge editing project that was also entirely lost other than the cropped photos. ARGH! My new laptop is an HP Pavilion. I wanted to go Mac this time, but just couldn't afford the additional money it would have cost, given that a new computer really isn't in the budget right now. Disney trips and all...

So glad your sinus infection is getting better! I've suffered through so many of those, so I really sympathize with you for suffering with that. It's hard to make yourself do anything or even focus on anything when your head is clogged and you've got all the other infection symptoms.

This weekend, the kids are being watched by my mom, we are heading into Toronto to spend time with my cousin and celebrate our 9th Wedding anniversary.
Im also starting to plan out for our feb trip for the kids. Trying to get some things for them for warmer weather in FL that will fit them then. Lots of summer stuff on sale. Just trying to predict how much they will grow.

Hi Folks,

I dont know how many of you know what has been going on during the last two weeks, but I have some information to share.

Approximately 2 weeks ago, someone on the ABD Board asked if the ticket included in the BSM Adventure was a three or a four day ticket. After some discussion , it was pointed out that the ABD website stated a 3 day ticket.

After several phone calls where I was told it was a 4 day ticket, someone finally checked and I was told that it would be a three day ticket.

I have made phone calls, complained to anyone that will listen and written a letter.

I am happy to say that I got a call from Disney / ABD letting me know that everyone traveling on a 2011 Backstage Magic Adventure will definitely receive a 4 day park hopper ticket as part of the package.

There is a small change and it might affect some of you.

ABD has changed their policy regarding transfers on the day of departure.

As of now, the final transfer from the Disneyland Resort to the airport on the last day of the Adventure, will be at 4:00pm.

ABD asks that your departing flight be no later than 7:00pm.

I realize that some of you have already booked airfare based on old information.
