Please welcome Becky, Jeff and their daughter to the Adventure.

Welcome Aboard Folks!!!!

Welcome! :cool1::banana::yay:

I leave tomorrow!:banana::banana: I will see some of you on PCC2.0. Then I get to meet Susan, my roomate for the ABD trip, and other ABDers on Dec. 16th! :cool1::cool1: See you soon!

Yay! I'm catching up on the podcast episodes -- I have an hour commute back and forth from school. Today, though my DH and I sat down during lunch and listened to half of this weeks -- Hopefully we will be caught up by April and feel like old-timers! ;)

Just wanted to say welcome to all of the people who have signed up for the trip recently! It's going to be a lot of fun:thumbsup2

I'm headed to Disney on Saturday morning:cool1: Hope all of you going on the cruise have a great time -- and warmer weather than is expected in Disney the beginning of next week. I'm seriously re-thinking my packing. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you at the Swan on Thursday morning!

I don't know if this helps anyone, I just noticed that prices on Continental have really dropped going from Newark to LAX for the dates of our trip. I just got $318 R/T...for months this itinerary was anywhere between $450-$500.

It's hard to believe the trip is only about 4 months away!

Sounds great! We got flights on two separate airlines: Airtran (direct from Milwaukee to LAX and it gets us in around noon the day before - so that is awesome! And then our flight out from SNA on Southwest leaving mid-afternoon so we can spend a few extra hours in the parks the last day

-- We ended up paying about $400 total for each of us (includes paying southwest's early bird check in and airtran's seat assignment) -- not horrible especially considering the decent flight times.

Very nice deal! I think you'll enjoy flying out of SNA, it's a very friendly airport...I found everyone from the check-in people to TSA to be very nice.

If you fly out of SNA are you flying into Newark or Philly and can you get a direct flight? We will fly in to Philly and only could get connecting. My husband is not excited to fly and can only do non-stop or I might not get him back on the plane and if it is not a good flight out it may be a long car ride all the way to NJ.

When I flew out of SNA I got a direct flight to Newark. I believe Continental has three direct flights each day to Newark from SNA...last I checked one is early morning, one around midday and the last in late afternoon.

Hello everyone!
I'm still recovering from last week's trip to the world! I so totally miss it, I'm already dying to go back! Had a great time even though it was a bit cold. I have to say my 2 favorite things were the Osborne lights and the castle lighting. :thumbsup2

It was so nice to meet many of you over the course of my trip. DeAnn, Robin, Yvet, Emil, Louise, and Mark - it was great to see all of you at the Swan (and elsewhere)! I think this trip is going to be wonderful and we all seem to have so much in common! :goodvibes

How was DATW? I had hoped to make it there, but after my lunch ADR in Epcot on Friday, we popped over to MK to see the castle lighting bc of the rain predicted for Saturday. I didn't want to take the chance of missing it. Since that was a MVMCP night, the park was emptying out after and the lines for the monorial were insane! :scared1: I was also exhausted, so I headed back to VWL to take more pics and ended up being inside my villa on the couch before 8:00! Hope you all had a great time.

Is anyone planning any trips to WDW before the ABD trip? I really am considering going for a long weekend. I have a lot of SWA credits to use up, a lot of Continental credit, and yesterday I got a round trip reward flight from SWA. So I am ready LOL! :wizard:

Ok, just wanted to stop in and say hello and say how nice it was to meet you! Can't wait til April!!

No -- We were just there 6 weeks ago over Halloween. And we were there in July also. I'm super excited about the April trip. I'm afraid that once I get there you might not get me to go home! We just watched Waking Sleeping Beauty as a family and now I'm even MORE excited!:yay::banana:

I'm still recovering too! I had a wonderful time despite the cold weather. It was my first time spending my birthday there and seeing all the holiday stuff and it was a lot of fun. I especially liked the Osborne lights too :goodvibes

It was great to meet you and of course everyone else who I met at the Swan as well. Hope whoever is still there is enjoying the rest of their vacation :thumbsup2

I really want to go back to WDW but not sure it will be before the April trip. I am considering a long weekend as well, just trying to see where I can fit it in. I also have credit on Continental and Jet Blue so it makes the trip seem almost free :rotfl2: Of course before this trip I was thinking I'd just go next October for Food and Wine, but now I am thinking I also need to go again next Dec and that I can't wait until October to go back to WDW so hence the long weekend I am trying to fit in. Yes, I know I'm slightly obsessed!

I had been monitoring that flight for months as well and the price never fluctuated much. So both Susan and I went ahead and booked when it was at the higher end of the price range since we were afraid it would keep going up. Fortunately I had checked the price after that and we were both able to get credits for the difference. I can't believe how much the price dropped though!

What dates are you flying? Susan and I are coming in a day early and staying a couple of extra days at the back end. Maybe we are on the same flight?

So, I'm holding myself back from searching for photos/reviews online because I want to be surprised. I haven't even watched a World of Color video yet, because I want to be surprised. However, I'm finding it harder and harder to stay uninformed. :wizard: Anyone else in the same boat? I need a "do not open until April" support group :woohoo: Anyone want to join me?

Robin,

I have only visited Disneyland once this past September, but my husband Shawn has never been. It will be his first time, but he is going more for me as I am the DF in this situation. I hope that he will enjoy it as much as everyone. Shawn is in the same boat as you, but you sound way more excited than he does.:worried:
