According to the Disney Parks blog, ABD has announced today that the 3 existing River Cruises will be their offering for 2023.

Adventures by Disney just announced a return to three enchanting rivers in 2023: Rhine, Danube and Seine. With 27 action-packed departures that include family, adult-exclusive and holiday-themed sailings, you’ll experience firsthand the people, places and stories of iconic destinations. Plus, our team of specially trained Adventure Guides will provide a seamless and authentic experience that is marked by Disney’s signature service.
Adventures by Disney river cruise bookings open to the public on Jan. 28, 2022.

If you’re interested in booking a vacation on 2023 river cruise sailings, you can take advantage of Adventure by Disney’s Early Booking Offer savings of $500 per person. You can also sail into summer with Adventures by Disney’s 2022 River Cruise Offer savings of $500 per person on select Rhine or Danube river cruises. Availability for these offers is limited.

To learn more about Adventures by Disney or to book a vacation, guests can visit AdventuresByDisney.com, call 1-800-543-0865 or contact a travel agent.
Doesn't say anything about bookings for Adventure Insiders, etc.

ETA to say there is a splash on the ABD website about River Cruises for 2023 being available that takes you to the normal filtered destination site that lists all the 2022 and 2023 River Cruises:

https://www.adventuresbydisney.com/trip-selector/river-cruise/

The website does say that the early booking discounts are only good until April 25, 2022, and that availability is limited (per usual).

Not seeing any info about a visit to the shipyard to see the DCL ship this time... maybe I am looking in the wrong place? I figured the three builds were basically back to back.

Anyone have ideas if they'll do the Nat Geo Photography Sailing on the Seine in 2023?
My assumption is, since they've listed the new dates for 2023, and there are no 2023 dates for that specialty sailing, that the answer would be no. But that's just a guess on my part. I'd suggest calling ABD to ask.

I'm scheduled to go on the May 2022 SoCal trip, does that mean I would qualify for the Jan 26th booking date or do I have to have completed a trip? I want to get one of the single occupancy cabins on the Seine cruise I'm worried they'll be gone before the DVC bookings open the next day.

When I tried this last year, they told me no because you needed to have completed the trip. Doesn’t hurt to call and ask though!

In the past, the policy has previously been having completed the trip, but as @Magnum_PI says, it couldn't hurt to call and check.

That said, my understanding is that the Seine is not one of the more popular river cruises (Rhine and Danube are more so) so chances are good you can get a single cabin, especially if you can be flexible as to date.

Good to know! I'm most interested in the Seine since I've never been to Paris but I've been to cities that both the Rhine and Danube cruises stop in.

That sounds like an excellent choice.

I just think the Rhine and the Danube are more "familiar" itineraries for folks. ABD offered a Rhône river cruise that I was supposed to go on in 2020 that was in the South of France (Lyon to Marseilles). It had a *fabulous* itinerary, but it just did not sell well, and the pandemic just killed it. You just never know what people will go for.

The bookings are up on DreamsUlimited now. Oddly enough they're quoting the double occupancy price on the single-person stateroom. That has to be a glitch in their system right?

I would assume so. The whole point of a Single room is that there's no single supplement.

I also want to do the Seine cruise as a solo traveler in a couple years. I will be traveling with two other people, but I'll need the single room myself. My question is do we do this trip as an ABD or do we go with just a direct Ama booking? Does anyone have any thoughts either way? We're all adults 40+ so I think we'd prefer an all adult sailing and possibly if we go in 2024 as we are discussing, in October to be post Paris Olympics. I'm wondering how similar the activities on board are between when the trip is run by ABD or by Ama. I'd also love to do a pre or post stay to visit some Paris sites, but can't figure out the right amount of time on that or how to see exactly what I want unless I go on my own and likely get slapped for my pathetic HS French.

I hope you are able to get one of those single rooms. That would be wonderful. Also, be sure to mention if you are DVC. A friend told me they got the early booking discount plus a DVC discount. She was surprised and the vacationista told her they are not always offered.

I've only done the ABD river cruise, but I believe I remember others who have posted say that they sailed directly with AmaWaterways and the excursions were quite different. Not nearly as many options, and just not the sort of activities ABD sets up. The Ama crew were absolutely fantastic, so you would certainly have a good time, but not the same sort of excursions.

I'm sure if I'm wrong, someone will correct me.

Thanks! Its always good to be able to pick someone's brains on ideas like this. I have a feeling its a moot point anyway since it looks like the ABD sailings aren't when we'd want to go anyway.
