ABD and DVC POINTS

I plan to book a ABD for Aug 2011, and I plan to pay cash sending in $500 a month .If I get to the end and find i am short of cash, can I change 1 person to be paid with DVC points?
(Yes I know it is not the best use of points and I know I can rent them, but do not want the hassle)
Just want to know if changing to part payment of DVC points is Possible
