searchlight, Nevada...a living ghost town in what looks to be in the middle of nowhere but is an hour south of vegas and hour north of Bullhead city. The beauty of the place is that it sits atop a hill so has all the rocky cliff atmosphere with old ghost town. No one lives there, so they carpool folks out of Bullhead city to work at the truck stop and McDonalds resturant, probably the highest wage west of the Mississippi river....so, there is no value menu at the McDonalds that is part of the tiny casino, mini gas station mart and truck stop. The most famous person.....the senator that just retired, I want to say Frist and they have a speed trap system, 25 mph is the law, thru the ghost town of four lanes, that is why folks speed, why all the lanes in the middle of nowhere.

wichman, Lyon County, NV...the county was named after the first Union General killed in the civil war, 1861......anyhow according to the map, loooks like a great place to scout out big horn sheep that hang out around Mt. Grant.
