just got this from abc.com....Come party with your favorite Soap Star and be on TV. This event is Free! Stars from OLTL, GH and AMC will be making appearances. The ABC Soap's "Fun In The Sun" Tour will be at........

Downtown Disney (Anaheim, CA) on Saturday, June 4th from 1:00 - 5:00 pm.

Oh man, I had forgotten they were coming. I previously had plans to be in Reno this weekend so I wasn't going to be able to be there, but those fell through. I miss the Super Soap Weekends we used to have (well the 2 that we had). This is the bit where a few of the 'hunks' play around with the crowd and the footage is shown between the soaps on ABC. It always looks like so much fun. Oh and if Tyler Christopher is going to be there..... I have to go.....

I wonder if I can get a good last minute deal to DL??????

there are always last minute deals on the airlines websites. what an excuse to make a great weekend at DL!

There's a list on the abc daytime website--Tyler isn't listed (though I agree he's a hottie--nice too). Here's the website with the list:

I'll be at DL on Sat and will probably stop over there to check it out. The only GHer I've met on the list is Alicia (Courtney). I miss Super Soap, too.

Alicia (Courtney) is wonderful with such a big heart. She literally had to be pulled away from the fans at the Super Soap weekends. She wanted to be able to meet everyone, but her lines and Jason's lines were SOOOOO long, even hours before they were scheduled to appear.


Well, looking at the list of stars, I don't think I'm going to break my neck to get there. The only 2 I would be interested in seeing, I've already met. (Alicia and Ric). But, then again, since GH films in LA, there's always a chance that others will stop by.

I met her at the first DCA Super Soap--her line was quite short then as she'd only been on the show a couple of months, but yeah--she's very nice.

There's really no one on the list I'm dying to meet, but, yeah, you never know who might end up showing up.

Yeah, I just happen to be arriving on Saturday, guess I know how to spend my day. I loved Kirsten Storms on Days of our Lives.

My wife is a big GH fan so we stopped by the Fun in the Sun event on Saturday as we were getting ready to leave the Disneyland Resort for the day.

There were a lot of little games going on ... some sort of fishing thing in a little swimming pool, a little golf putting green, etc. There were backdrops that you could get your picture taken against that said something to the effect of "The newest star on [Your favorite ABC soap name here]." We got there as the stars were up on stage answering questions from the crowd. A lot of the questions were like, "What's it like to work with Susan Lucci?" or "What's it like to kiss Jason?"

Stars appearing at the event included Jennifer Bransford ("Carly" on GH), Scott Clifton ("Dillon" on GH), Rick Hearst ("Ric" on GH), Michael B. Jordan ("Reggie" on AMC), John-Paul Lavoisier ("Rex" on OLTL), Kirsten Storms ("Maxie" on GH) and Alicia Leigh Willis ("Courtney" on GH).

Aw, so that's what was going on. I didn't stop to ask because I didn't see my soap there, but how cool that they were there.
