ABC parade taping - any updates?

No new info regarding Thursday. Taping is still confirmed for Wednesday; tickets for parade taping on Friday are confirmed for a 7:00a entry.

Just to add, I have tickets for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 7am

I'm sorry I should have said, they're not my tickets as such. My friend is a CM and got tickets, so she asked if my son and I would like to join her to watch the taping. If it's the actual parade we'd like to go, if only to stay for a short while, but if it's something different we might not bother.

Still looking for updates on this! We haven't made a decision on Thursday, and I'm trying to figure out what they have squeezed into a short time slot for taping (our tickets are for 1pm, MVMCP starts at 7pm, so all would have to be wrapped by then.)

We were just there this morning and you can still get castle shots - didn't notice anything taping related until we were walking around the side hub area. They were filming something - a musical act maybe? Couldn't tell who it was but it wasn't drawing much of a crowd. Main Street was unaffected by the taping (we were there today from 8a until 1230p). Heading back after naptime so we'll post if we see anything else significant. Not much there today to report so far!

According to the DisneyChannel on Instagram, it was the cast of the Descendants. They were filming in the hub and near Crystal Palace.

We were at MK today. The Descendents taped a performance, my girls couldn't have been more excited! Only problem is the 3:00 parade is bumped to 5. Maybe I didn't pay close enough attention to schedules?? But I didn't know this ahead of time. Not sure if this is because of taping? Tree is up with photographers available. Main st was unaffected as far as I could tell also.

You're one better than me since I don't even know Charlie. So sad that the acts have really gone downhill since Jonas Brothers!

Edit: I just googled Mark Daniels and it pulled up a dead actor and some political reporter. Is that him? Still so sad.

Charlie Puth is the one singing the chorus on the Wiz Khalifa song "See You Again". The Paul Walker tribute/Fast and Furious song.

I believe he was a YouTube performer, then Ellen Degeneres brought him on her show, and that's where he got his start.

Mark is actually a Disney CM that has worked in plenty of other tapings but just as a crowd warmer he worked at Comedy Warehouse at Pleasure Island, the guy who warmed up the audience before AIE, he travels and does warm up for SW Celebration and D23 and Comic Con. Each year that Nick Cannon was the host he would come out and start the trend #notnickcannon
Are you sure he's the host? I heard it was Nick Cannon again and that they changed the dates top accommodate his schedule
EDIT TO ADD: Yeah Mark is just the warm up guy not the host, Banks Lee from Attractions Magazine has been there every year and he just told me that Mark is not the host.

Ohhhh, is he the tall, blonde guy that has been there every year? I *love* him. He's so entertaining and funny. If that's the case, I wish it *was* him over Nick Cannon.
