I used to think that it was better, because of the no tax thing in Florida, to wait and buy bottles when we got there. Then on our last trip we didn't take anything, and went to that store beside Goodings and I was FLOORED by the prices. A $20 bottle of Parrot Bay here in Savannah, GA was like $32 there I'll gladly pay taxes from now on and BYOB.

Of course I'm fortunate enough to be able to drive down and not have to fly. Leaving in about 2 hours as a matter of the fact, and got a few bottles sitting out already

I totally knew that. I don't know why I said Goodings. The liquor store by Gooding IS expensive but the ABC Liquors just down the street in front of Winn-Dixie is very reasonable.
