ABC is playing Illuminations music with its inauguration coverage

Anyone else notice? I keep hearing snatches of the Illuminations soundtrack when they go to commercial.

They did that the day after the election. They had a video montage of all the campaign and convention footage that they played at the end of their coverage on Nov. 3, and the music it was set to was Illuminations. I guess they must really like using it (it is great music!)!

I've been sticking with ABC's coverage of the inaugeration just to keep hearing the music.

I totally agree on that one. When I hear the music I think of Illuminations, not Inaugurations.

Doubtful that some ABC technician realizes they are using the same music WDW uses for Illuminations. It's all someone else's music.

Yep, everytime they went to break, I thought of Epcot.

I KNEW it!!! I was sitting in the break room on lunch with my manager and jumped out of my seat when it started playing. I told her that was the music to illuminations and she kind of looked at me like I was a little strange. That's ok I know my Disney.

I don't know...I think it's great they're using it for such an important event!
