ABC 8x8 Prototypes

D - Disney Days 2 Photo mats embellished woops forgot to put the ribbon on the right side mat. Title D will have Glitter Glue added of course I remembered after I took the picture but it will be done.

Mickey paper piecing lifts up to reveal another hidden journal area.

Do these pages look okay am I missing anything? I might have to make Mickey smaller right now he takes up alot of space but honestly he looks so cool being the Big cheese that he is..

Kat -- love the trash can, it is pretty neat! I am definitely going to need to take a list of the photos I need and the orientation of the photos for Sept trip! I know I don't have any trash can photos -- but now I want them. Maybe the kids will like the idea of a photo scavenger hunt...I know I will!

Disney Days -- turned out wonderful. If you are questioning the size of the Mickey -- here is what I do -- find a few random photos you have and try them out. If the Mickey is consistently interfering with the photos, then it is probably too big. I do like the size and the overlap. I think it is not too hard to find a photo with a little bit of dead space at the top for the Mickey to cover up -- I usually crop my photos beofre I print them -- for this I imagine I would not crop out the dead space. I would watch the top -- anything that hangs out the top of my albums gets mauled by the kids. Hope this helps.

That's cause you have big kids! With little kids, sometimes we get back to the ride, sometimes we don't. But I like to grab them when I have the chance just in case. And I have found that when I try to give them away, more then half the time people act like I just offered them the bagel my 2 yr old licked the cream cheese out of.

J- Capt Jack Sparrow
This one is pretty simple and I probably will tweak it here and there but this is the general idea. All requirements are here I plan to do chalking around the edges to blend in the colors a little bit. I'm not sure if it needs much more.

J is embellished with a sword You won't be able to see the J underneath since I was playing around to see how to pop out the J the best. Again, I might change it Im not sure that it "pops" enough to point the page to the letter J.

I like just the sword for the J. I think your eyes are definitely drawn to it. Otherwise I think it looks great!

Your trashcan photos are cute and so is Raine!!! I never would have thought about taking photos with the trashcans. Will definitely have to add that to the photo list!

I love the trashcan journal box!! I confess to having a bunch of trash can photos. Wait till you get to WDW, Kat. The ones in the MK have really cool plaques on them for each land.

I have to be honest. I have never even noticed the trash cans before. I mean, I know they are there and I know they match the area in which they are placed - but plaques? Take pictures? Wow! Guess you can figure what I'll be doing the next time we go!

As for the size of Mickey.. My 3 kids and myself love it... DD wants instructions on how you jointed mickey together she wants to do it for her scrapbook.. so will you email me and tell me how you did it so she can try it tonight.. (raining so it doesn't look like we will be doing much!)

Kat- I am not in this swap,but I think your pages are really great. I love all the hidden journaling areas. You mentioned about changing them. Please don't. They are terrific. I love the little trash can... waaayyyy to cute and fun. The sword for "j" looks awesome. I dont think you need anything else for that page. It looks great the way it is. JMO.
