I excited! decided this morning to take advantage of my older 3 going away with their dad next summer & booked a trip for me, my OH & my youngest who will be 2 & half next August. I realised I won't have to pay for a park ticket or food for her at buffet/family style meals, found some very decent August fares with aer lingus (£620 each) booked art of animation little mermaid room for a week & we are set, 19-26 aug are our dates! I can't wait to show my baby the world, & will be lovely to have a trip totally focused on her..in other words no big itineraries & set plans & I will be forced to chill out & go at her pace! fountains, play areas, lots of characters, minimal ADRs, pool time, maybe this time I'll do that "smelling the roses" thing. hahahaha

So pleased for you!!

You will see the World differently with a little one, I would imagine. My daughter was 6 on her first visit and I often wonder what I missed out on in terms of how she experienced the offerings of Disney in general had I taken her just a year or two sooner. Also, having just the one to focus on, you will really be able to enjoy every moment for what it is without feeling like any others are having to sacrifice or trying to please them all.

I've taken little ones before from 5 mths old & onwards & no matter what age the memories are magical
I've been in love with art of animation since it opened so yes very excited about staying there & Ariel really is my favourite princess, I can't wait.

I've also booked a fly drive with major travel this afternoon, they gave me £719 per adult, £589 child so paid the £250 deposit on that too. that's flying with delta via Atlanta, flight times are perfect with 2 hour connections, just right I think.

We just got back with DD who is 2 and 1/2. She loved the boneyard park at animal kingdom the Casey junior splash zone as well. She would have stayed there the entire day.

We bought those swim out fits they were brilliant she dried off so quick in the Florida sun. I made sure DH always wore trunks as well so he would dry quick. I enjoyed watching from the side with a cold drink lol.

thank you invoice arrived in my email from Disney & major travel rang to confirm seats booked, what configuration we would like on the plane & named driver on the car, it's the little things that make it all real lol.
claire, you wait till you take Freya & see it through her eyes, you will fall in love with wdw all over again I promise! when their eyes light up, they giggle & smile at everything around them, it really is magical! x
