WOW for a group that gets into an uproar about people being judgmental. No matter what I say many of you will find something wrong or some reason to dislike me.
Not really sure what the issue is?
You don't know me personally and yet many are you in a tizzy. It doesn't take much "investigating" to find someones older post.
This post was merely a question on what someone on famous stated and yet it has been turned and twisted into a witch hunt. if you have a problem with me that fine, ignore me and my post but why spend the "energy" hating someone you will never meet or know?
Really...? You could take your own advice, and not assess and evaluate the teens you see at the bus stop each morning. That would be a start.
If I offend anyone I am sorry that is not my intention at all. If i can say one thing it is that I don't know you and your life. If I make a statement it is not a collective you or your kid specifically. I just really didn't think that that needed to be spelled out or said.
Forgive for get move on..except for the person who implied something god awful about me. That's just not cool.
Sorry, but when you generalize and pre-judge others in a collective group that you don't know, you pretty much are judging them based on an external factor.
You seem to be new here, yet with your last several posts, we could assess, judge and evaluate you based on:
-Your signature: You are Queen to a Princess and you live at the Grand Floridian
-Your other threads (Disney Moms Panel - yikes!)
Would it be fair for us to do that? How would you feel? These are all questions I would ask my own children (despite being young), and my highschool students.
You are being very silly if you think that your comment on teens meant nothing. If it did, you would not have put it there, and then subsequently removed it. It did mean something...You made a connection in your head, between Aaron Sorkin's quote, and the teens you see at the bus stop each day. Why?
Life on a message board can be different than real life. We don't know you, but we can make assumptions and pre-judgments based on the words you put into cyberspace. Just like you pre-judge those teens each and everyday without knowing them, the same can be done with you on here.
Your words can be the 'sweatpants' of the teen girls you dislike so much - is it fair to determine what kind of person you are if this is the only factor we use?
The difference is that you haven't taken the time to get to know any of those teens, yet on here, we have read quite a bit about your opinions and assessments of differing groups of people. Sure, people can ignore you, and some probably already have started to do so, but that is immature - it's an everybody else's fault, and not mine way of thinking.
If you continue to post as you have as of late, you may find it difficult for others to take you seriously or respect your opinions.
