AARGH!!! - I am never going to get all this laundry done!!

Well I get to wash a bunch of wet stuff from the basement because I came home last night to a broken hot water tank that spilled all over the basement floor!! I feel your pain!.When something major breaks you need it fixed NOW, life is way to hectic to wait for this stuff and I need a shower!!

UGH!! Sorry!!

I told DH that I had just got all of the towels washed, and now I've got to wash them all over again from sopping up all of that water!!

Oh I also have towels in the machine now from the AM toilet overflow!! DH used white towels to sop up that water!

I have instituted "Everyone goes naked for one day/week" in my family so I can cut down on laundry...It's reduced my workload and kept unwanted neighbors away...

Okay - I'm getting close!!

DH found the problem - at the least will cost $70 to fix. He's pretty certain that will eliminate the problem, as is the repair shop.

But, we did go washer hunting yesterday. So, tell me about these front loaders. The one I've narrowed it down to is the GE Adora at Home Depot. It's $900 , but I've got a 10% off coupon, $100 gift card from my parents at Christmas, and they're running a special that you will get back another $100 gift card after the purchase, so essentially, it's $610 - that makes it easier to stomach. But, I don't really get these things. Any owners out there - are you happy with them? What detergent do you use? Any quirks to them that I will need to get used to?
