We returned a few days ago from a 10 day visit to Orlando. We spent a few days at HRH and then off for 6 glorious days at VWL.
I know I tend to be a little on the negative side about WDW, and even about DVC sometimes (not going to go there now
because this is one of those warm and fuzzy posts).
We checked into VWL and finally got a great room. No, I don't give room numbers or locations, but it was great. We were able to hear the piped in Christmas music all day and the crickets all night. The weather was so nice we kept the sliding glass door open pretty much the whole time we were in our room.
We received 6 welcome homes from various people at VWL. That was very nice.
The lodge was decorated perfectly, as usual.
You know that long walk to the parking lot that some people don't like? Well, you know what? We love that walk. It gives us an excuse to go through the lobby and enjoy the sights and sounds.
Our towels were nice and fluffy this time and the water pressure in the shower was good.
All in all, I must say that this past visit has made our purchase into DVC seem to be a great investment. I cannot believe that we stayed in that beautiful 1 BR villa for about $88 a night (maint dues- yeah, I know we forked out an initial bundle
)
There, I finally posted a really positive post!
