What kind of discounts are available at Disney with AAA? Just wondering if it is worth the money?

If you're referring to a room discount, when I made our room-only reservation for POFQ through CRO for this upcoming September (value season), we went from a rate of $1676.30 to $1341.10 for 10 nights. This was a savings of $335.20, and calculates out to a 20% discount of $33.52 per night.

Something to keep in mind - when I have called before and made a room-only reservation using a AAA discount I was told I had to show my card at check-in, which was not a problem. This time when I made the room reservation with the AAA discount I was asked to provide my AAA member number from my card at the time I made the reservation (again, not a problem) and I will again have to show my card at check in, so I think the days of calling to get a AAA discount before you actually have a membership are done.

You can get a 10-20% discount depending on the resort and the time of year. It is one discount that is almost always available. Plus with membership there are all kinds of discounts at many stores businesses and other hotels all over the country. One vacation getting a hotel discount can probably get you your money back. Plus if your car ever breaks down you can get service for free.
