Aaa?

I'm an AAA member. I'm looking to book a trip in May from May 22-28. We want a 6 day park hopper and water upgrade PLUS dining. As of now it would be cheaper to just book through disney using the free park hopper and water park upgrade (i think). My question is what discounts DO I get for booking through AAA. I know it's like 15% rackrate but is there anything else? Can I get the 15% off the room and also get the free park hopper and water park upgrade?

You get the 14% off OR the free ticket upgrade. Depending on where you're staying and how many people in your party will determine which is the better deal.

I would call to book TOMORROW. When I called AAA for my April/May trip, there were no AAA rate rooms available at the hotel I wanted. I booked through Disney and then called to apply the free upgrade code, and there weren't any more available for my hotel, either. Thank goodness I got an outrageously good deal on airfare!

The best perk from AAA is the parking pass, if you drive to the parks at a busy time. It puts you close in every park. Although, it's still easier to take the bus to MK.

There is also a card they send which gives 10 -20% off certain stores and restaurants. I only used it once at a store in DTD.

IF you have AAA's Visa you can apply your rebate certificates the the final payment of your trip. This is why I always book with AAA. I save about $100 - 150 a trip using my credit card rebates.

I booked the package with AAA and got the ticket upgrade and 10% off the room rate. I went with the package because it will be less work for me going to the AAA to get the Pass. We are going the same time as you. May 22-27,2007. We are staying at a Deluxe resort hence the 10% discount on the room. I did the math 10x's hoping to get a better answer. I just wish I could get the resort a bit cheaper but... Its the first time my sister is going so I want her to enjoy the resort. Have a good trip and lets hope for great weather.
