AAA - ways to save on joining?

Are there any "specials" out there to save on joining AAA? I went to their website, and unless you have received a postcard or offer of some sort you pay their regular fees to sign up. Not sure if a membership is worth it for us.

Anyone out there know how to save on joining???

Don't know of any discounts for AAA but it is worth the money!!!!! Just by using the many discounts I more than make back the cost of membership every year.

That's not counting using AAA services.

We rejoined this year after a long lapse. When I checked online our AAA didn't offer any specials, but when I went in person, and mentioned that we used to be members, ect..and asked if they could offer us a special price they did. We bought it for 2 years as the price dropped further.
