Hi! We are going to DL with a AAA package which includes enhanced fastpasses. Would Ridemax be of any use to me?

Yes. In fact, RideMax has an option for the AAA Enhanced FP when creating itineraries.

From what I understand it is the ability to get another fast pass while still holding one. You don't need to wait for the first one to expire. I believe you can go from one attraction to another gathering one fastpass apiece, and then ride any time that day. This is only available with a AAA package staying onsite.

How is enhanced Fast Passes different from regular Fast passes?
Samsma has the right idea. Here is a more detailed summary. First, lets discuss the regular FP. DLR has most of the FP rides "networked". So when you get a FP for Indy, the FP system knows you got one and will not give you one for Splash or something else until a certain time has elapsed. But the DL network is separate from the DCA network. So you could get a FP for Indy, and then walk right over to DCA and get a FP for ToT. The DL and DCA networks treat each other as independent from the other one.

Enhanced FP (EFP) is different in that it treats every FP ride as if it is disconnected from every other ride. Thus you can get a FP for Indy and then go and get a FP for Splash right away.

For the record, I think EFP is highly overrated and not worth the extra cost. Unless you want to ride Indy, Splash, Space, etc., four times a day, you can get FPs for all of these with a little effort. During our trip in August, I almost always had way more FPs than we could use. And we went on all of the big rides multiple times.

If you are already planning to stay at DLR hotel, then get the EFP by all means. But if you are comparing a DLR hotel to a good neighbor purely on the benefit of EFP, it is just not worth it IMO.

I would also take into consideration that there are some popular rides with long lines that don't have FP. Ridemax would be good for this. :goodvibes
