AAA Verification

My sister and her son, plus my DH and three kids are going In late July. Can my sister book two rooms with her AAA discount and then I pay with my credit card, or does it have to be on her credit card? Or can she just show her AAA discount and we pay for our room and she pays for hers?

She should be able to reserve both rooms. If it will make it easier just give her your money and she can pay for it all. I don't think you will have any problems as long as she has her card.

When late july are you going to be there?

I have 2 rooms reserved at the AAA rate. My mother has made payments on it using her credit card with no problems and the room is under my DH's name. I would think you could do it while checking in also. You could call and pay your part before you go.

I just wanted to add that the rooms will be on the same reservation and need to be for the same exact days. She will need to show her AAA card when you are checking in.

First let me say I would not book a room with the AAA rate if I wasn't a AAA member and had the AAA card to show at check-in. But it is interesting how few times I have been asked to show the card during check-in at a Disney resort or off Disney hotel. In fact, I'm not sure if anyone has ever asked for my AAA card when making my reservation or when checking in until last week when I made a AAA discount reservation at AKL for my father and the Disney reservationist requested I call her back with the AAA number (although she made the reservation without the number).

Going back a few years when the Disney Club existed I was only asked once for my Disney Club card at check-in.

THey didn't ask for my AAA membership # when I made the reservation - but indicated I would need to show it at time of check-in.

When I used it in June 2004 - they did ask at check-in to see my card.

Just back from AKL> I was never asked for my membership # for the initial reservation and was not asked at the front desk either.
