Just booked a trip through AAA. In our info it says we receive preferred parking at all 4 parks. Does anyone have experience with this? We can take the boat to MK but maybe it would be worth it to drive to the others.:confused3

When you get your packet from AAA about 6 weeks before you leave there will be a card in there for parking. You show it to the attendant at the parking booth. It has been my experience that unless you arrive early those spots will be taken. Still a nice perk though if you are lucky enough to take advantage of it.

That's what I was afraid of. This will be our first adult only trip. Probably will not be any early park arrivals this time around.

We had them on our last trip and loved them. A lot. We are not rope droppers. It was March and wasn't really crowded but we had no problems with getting a parking place in the designated area. In each park they were right near the Handicapped areas.

Its worth a try, some people may arrive early and leave from those spaces by noon. We always found some in the evenings as well.

We're not rope drop people and have always gotten AAA parking close enough that we could walk to the TTC and at EPCOT just walk into the park. Granted we don't go to WDW at peak times either.

I found aaa parking good when I've been with my kids and a heavy double stroller since the tram was a pain when dealing with that but frankly for adults only I wouldn't care. Most are still a decent walk from the park.

But also can be useful if you're leaving right at a big rush time so you don't have to wait for a tram. But nothing that I'd ever lose sleep over. Saves a couple minutes at most usually

Also - if you're staying on site with a car, i still prefer Disney busses for MK since they drop you off at the park and not TTC! The other three parks I prefer to drive even when I stay on site.

Mid November it should work great. I've used AAA Diamond parking in Nov/Dec in recent years and had no problem getting a spot ever. May not be efficient for MK because you've still got a decent walk to TTC. Definitely use Disney transportation there. Otherwise, it is a close walk from those spots at EPCOT and AK. DHS is even better because you can slip off to the left and go through that side bag check area instead of the main one. That is probably the biggest benefit, right there. :thumbsup2

At AK, MK and EPCOT, they've got a sign with a color coded line that you just follow to the parking spaces. At DHS, you'll have to flash your pass at the attendants directing traffic or otherwise, you'll get sent with everyone else.

thanks all. Will take advantage of it except for MK. We will be at WL and will take the boat.

We stayed at WL when we took the best advantage of the AAA pass. Being able to hop on the boat to MK and then AAA park at the other parks was ideal. Have a great time
