AAA Unlimited Fastpass worth the extra cost?

We are going to DL July 4-7. Staying at CCI + 3 day hoppers = $1032. Booking through AAA staying at CCI 1 night and Disney's PP 2 nights + park hoppers with bonus and unlimited fastpass = $1368. Is it worth the $336? I know it is going to be very busy and I think having the unlimited fastpasses will alleviate a lot of stress and hassle. We get in late on th 4th, so I don't think it is worth it to pay for PP the first night. We will have a rental car. Any opinion's?

over $150/night more for PPH? Wow! (Is that a standard room or view room?)

I love the Enhanced FP, especially if you like to ride and re-ride the FP rides. But this is a bit much. I would only recommend it if you are on the bubble about whether to stay on site, and I would have a tough time justifying that much more money for PPH. You'll only get one EE either way, and staying at the CCI the whole tiem, you also won't have to hassle with switching hotels.. You can manage the crowds well by getting to the parks early and making good use of the regular FP. Yes, it will be busy in early July, but probably not quite as crowded after the 4th as before.

I agree with CalGal. We rarely were able to use all of the regular FastPasses we got last August.

I used EFP over Spring Break. When the park was packed (over a 90 minute wait for Space Mountain), it was fantastic! A couple of days the park was somewhat empty and we didn't use it at all. I guess it all depends on the crowds you anticipate and your frustration level when waiting in line.

That was for a standard room at PPH. I got the AAA rate at CCI of 107.00 + tax for a deluxe room.

By the way we are seasoned park commando's and will probably be following the Unofficial Guides touring plan. They worked wonderful for us at WDW in the summer.

FYI, my decision has pretty much been made by the Maytag repairman. He said it's time to by a new washing machine. Looks like we will be staying at the CCI the entire time.

I mean that I made a focused effort to collect FastPasses at DL and DCA during the day (see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=885132 ). And we went on lots of rides. But we never had time to use all of the FastPasses we collected and usually gave the extras away. We stayed until park closing (midnight) every night. One night my DW took a pic of me holding 42 FastPasses (seven rides for all six in our family).
