I just bought Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure/City Walk passes
from AAA for $91 including tax. The pass is good for 7 consecutive days.
Good deal and I like having my passes in hand.

Hi fellow Berks Countian! We're in Fleetwood. I talked to our AAA too and they just don't seem to offer any bargains - it is frustrating. The $91 is a good price, but that is the standard price offered through the Universal website. Actually Universal charges $89, so AAA must be actually adding on a few bucks. I had also called them for hotel packages and they couldn't offer anything better than what I could find myself. What's up with them?

Anyway, ENJOY your trip. Just thinking and planning about sunny Florida is helping me get through this crappy PA March weather. Up for another rainy weekend? Yuck.

My local AAA sells the 7 day tickets for $85, including tax, which makes it a better deal than Universal. Plus you get actual tickets in hand rather than having to pick them up at the park or print them out at home. I don't know why they give us MA folk a better deal, but I'm not complaining!

I got my 7 day/2 park passes for $85 each and that includes tax too. I saw it offered out on the AAA website (I needed my ID number) and could have purchased online, but I choose to go to my local office since it is so close.

That is how much I paid at my local AAA office in DelCo, PA :thumbsup2

I didn't think I was getting any special bargain at MY AAA.
Just an overall AAA bargain.
It's kinda the same as the price online- but I like the fact that I will have
my tickets in hand- rather than wait in line with a voucher !!

Hey there in Fleetwood. What a small world !! I am in Sinking Spring and work in Wyomissing. What a beautiful PA day we are having today. And yes, another rainy weekend- but at least it's not snow LOL. We are heading down in December. I thought the US tickets were a good price- but I am comparing them to WDW. We are doing both this trip.

You're right there - Universal is a better bargain overall than WDW, in my eyes. Not to say WDW isn't worth it (heaven forbid!), but we go to FL a lot and when we want to save some bucks but still have a killer vacation, we choose Universal.

For us, the realy cost saver for Universal is the fact that you can very easily leave the park to eat. A good dinner at, for example, the Hard Rock cafe, is more reasonable than any good dinner in WDW aside from counter service. Maybe things have changed (is the HRCafe still there?), but that's what really struck us last time.

We're even staying onsite at the RPR this time. It's pricey but STILL cheaper than a Deluxe at WDW. And the benefits are phenomenal (express line!)

Sorry to go off topic, but I wanted to agree with you about your comparison to WDW. And you are also right about having the tickets in hand. I didn't even think about that. We got a $79 rate on the US site or else I totally would have done what you did and go to AAA like you did.

Have fun - December will be such a nice time to go.
