AAA Travel

My DH & I booked our trip this year through AAA. The agent said we get our tickets 3 weeks before our trip, and now he told us that he checked with Disney Travel, that it would come next week. Is this normal? (I feel like a little, kid getting all excited about Disneyland,) I just want to make sure we have those tickets ready and hope for a smooth vacation. Am I worrying too much?

At 21 days out (from your ticker), they generally send the packets out for WDTC-based packages (which AAA is). They'll come by UPS, require someone to be there to sign for it, and they don't tend to tell you what the tracking info is (helpful of them, when it requires a sig, eh?). So what the AAA guy said is true both ways...it'll be send out 3 weeks before, and will take about a week to get to you.

WooHoo! Sorry for being a worry wart in my last post!, but our AAA travel agent called & is UPS'ng our tix! Yay!!!!!

Are the AAA rates better than the current buy three get two free DLR promotion?

Not sure, I know we paid less last year, but we added an extra day (5 days 4 nights, they gave us a two extra park hopper tickets). We used Expedia last year and using AAA this year. We're also staying in a different hotel. I really don't know if it's inflation or what. Either way, we are so excited and can't wait!
