I was hoping to book my reservation to Disneyland through AAA Travel in order to get the Enhanced Fastpass perk. Does anyone know if you can book it online through AAA and still receive the perk or if you have to do it in person at one of their locations? Thanks.

You can book online or at in person. The only requirements are booking with AA and you must book for one of the 3 Disney hotels.

Adding to hlb, you only need to book two nights thru AAA at a DLR hotel to get EFP. Some folks get creative and book the two nights at a DLR hotel, get their EFP tix for 4+ days, and change hotels after two nights.

Hi, I'm planning a trip to Disneyland (first time!) for October 2007 and am a AAA member- can anyone tell me what the enhanced fast pass is and what other perks you get for booking through AAA? Are you able to have multiple fast passes at once? How important is fast pass in DL? We're used to WDW in early May so they're not a must have... Thanks so much!

Last time I was there for the 48th anniversery we booked through Disney and we got that feature..

With enhanced fast pass you can get fast passes for more than one ride at a time. With the regular fast pass, you can get only one fast pass at a time and you have to wait until the time that it can be used before you can get another pass.

We used EFP this past April. When the park is crowded, It is a dream come true. We went when the park first opened, and I (dear ole dad) walked the park and collected fastpasses for every ride I could. Another MAJOR advantage is that the fact that the CMs do not look at the end time on the FP. Therefore, you do not have to rush from ride to ride. After we rode each ride, we got another FP for that ride. We just kept circling the park riding rides with minimal wait times. We even picked up fast passes at 3pm, went back to the room, had dinner, and came back and walked right on the rides.

Do you book for 2 nights and tell them you want to buy a ticket for 4 days? Do you need to stay at the DLH or the other 2 the first 2 nights or can it be the last 2 nights?

When we did it 2003, we didn't even have to stay at one of the 3 DL hotels. We stayed offsite in our motor home. I guess it's changed since then.

Yes, you can just book your trip through AAA with a minimum stay (2 nights I think) at a Disney resort, and add more days to your parkhopper. You do NOT have to stay at the Disney Hotel first -- you get your parkhopper with your package and it is already coded to be an Enhanced FP.

Example: Last August, we booked 3 nights at the GCH with a 5 day parkhopper. We stayed 2 nights off-site before moving over to the GCH, using the parkhopper the first day we arrived in Anaheim (2 days before checking into the GCH). The enhanced FP worked immediately.

The requirement to stay at a Disney property was not in effect in 2003. It started in 2004 I think --- definitely was in effect by 2005.
