From what I've read, these tickets are the same ones that are sold off the Disneyland site. But the AAA tickets include the perks (fastpasses, breakfast, ESPN credit). I was just interested in the fastpass perk. I called my local AAA office and was told I could only buy them in CA. A friend in CA offered to purchase them from me but was told only the Anaheim office sold them. We won't be renting a car so we can't purchase them there. Has anyone been able to purchase them from the Anaheim office and have them mailed? Or do you think I should just stop sressing over the tickets and buy them off the DL site. We're going in March- do you think we'd really need the unlimited fastpasses then? I'd appreciate any comments.

I posted this on another thread about this topic, but we did, after a very long struggle manage to order these through our AAA office (in Michigan). Every AAA office should be able to order them, but it took many phone calls and hours on hold to finally get the right place.

I can't guarantee this because I haven't actually received the tickets yet, but I did get a fax from Disney today confirming the order, prices, names, ages, etc. so I'll let you know when I actually get the tickets in hand.

I'm sure you couldn't order them in Anaheim (while you were there) because they insisted they had to be mailed to the AAA office and that you had to allow at least 5 working days. I suppose it might be possible to call that office, have them order them for you, and pick them up when you got there.

I don't think it should be necessary. The AAA Disneyland brochure advertises it for everyone, not just CA people. The number my agent finally called to order it was Disney Online Ticketing at 407-566-4985, which is actually a Disney World area code but they said that was the only place for online AAA orders. Note - she waited on hold for nearly an hour and was put back on hold several times during the conversation.

As far as needing FP's in March, that was the main reason we wanted that package - everything else is nice, but obtainable by spending (more) money. We're going in Feb - don't know if we will need them but I know it would upset me to see other people able to use it if I couldn't. If I knew it was something I couldn't qualify for (complete package, CA resident, etc.) then I'd deal with it. But when my kids decide they love 2 rides (never been to DL before) and want to do them every day we're there several times, I want the flexibility!

I'll update when I get the tickets (ordered them Fri, 5 working days I guess would be next Mon because of MLK day!)

Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to your update. I'm not sure the agents at my local AAA office would be as patient (on hold for an hour) as yours.

I posted this earlier, I called the Anaheim AAA office, and while she (AAA Anaheim) was on the phone with an agent from DL travel, was told these AAA passes were the same as what I could order on the DL site. Well, guess what - WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

I am so disgusted. I called the Disney Ticket office in FLA (this is where I think the tickets were mailed from) and they basically told me too bad.

I still cannot believe between AAA in Anaheim and DL agent that I did not get the right tickets. I kept explaining what the option for the tickets were (I got them from Mousesavers site) and both agents kept saying, yes these are the same as on the site.

This is going to be a thorn in my side until I don't know when.

My husband was reading my posts and informed me that although Disney said there must be a minimum of 5 working days for shipping, they also told the agent that they wouldn't send the tickets out until approximately 3 weeks before your "start date". Not a big difference for us because we go in 4 weeks, but I may get them a little later than I thought!

FYI the fax we got mentions specifically the "parkhopper plus pass (5 for 3 days)", breakfast in the park and the ESPN card but does not spell out the Fast Pass option (which we better get because this is the reason we bought it and confirmed about 10 times before giving our credit card. As far as the parking it says it in the brochure, but on the fax just says AAA parkhopper plus which I guess means the parking but again isn't spelled out. have to wait and see!
