AAA tickets and parking pass

Does anyone know if the diamond parking pass is available from AAA if you purchase tickets only from them? I know they will for packages they sell.

Over the years we have learned here that how AAA handles the parking pass can vary with each AAA office and/or area.

There is no answer that covers all AAA transactions.

I recommend that whatever kind of AAA deal you make, you should ask for
the pass (or other perks) that you want.

The policy for giving them out seems to very from location to location.

Some people just walk into their local AAA office and ask from them. Others have reported they can only get them with packages over a certain dollar value, booked through AAA.

My local office once they started to have the Reserve Wishes viewing area, changed it so the parking was available with just the purchase of a ticket though AAA.

I can walk in or have mailed passes without a purchase.

BTW, you know the AAA parking pass does not get you in to the parking lot (in other words, you will still have to pay for parking to get in). the AAA pass is only valid for certain spots near the front of the parking lot which may or may not have availability when you arrive.

Our local office gives them out with ticket purchases of 3 days or more.

And Disney reserves the right to even suspend the spots. So like Christmas, 4th of July, even Presidents day, they will just fill those spots with regular guests.
