Anyone know if you buy tickets through AAA (at a local office) if they're "real" tickets or vouchers? And if they're vouchers how can I link to our magic bands and set up FastPass+? Can you only redeem vouchers at guest services or can the hotel do it? TIA!

I bought tickets for my kids through AAA (my husband and I have annual passes this year). There was an alpha-numeric code on the back of the AAA ticket that I used to link them to our reservation through My Disney Experience without any problem at all... but we aren't within our window for fastpass+ yet, so who knows what will happen when it comes up.

ETA: realized I didn't answer the question completely... they were real tickets, not vouchers.

Thank you! Same situation, I have an AP this year but my son will need a ticket for our Sept trip since he's 3 now!

When you say real tickets do you mean the new plastic RFID type? TIA

I booked a package with AAA and used my confirmation number and linked my reservation to "my Disney experience". Our trip is planned for Sep 25- Oct 01. Yesterday I was able to select fastpass+ for the first few days of our trip, but I can not select it for Sept 29 - Oct 01.

They were real tickets when I bought them in February, but not rfid.... I bought them before they switched. I don't know what type of tickets they (AAA) have right now.

I'm not sure what it will mean for us for this trip, but our annual passes aren't rfid either. I was able to link both annual passes and the kids' tickets to MDE. Just have to wait another month of so for the 60 day window and see how well it all works;)
