AAA ticket voucher and FP+ early booking

I just want to confirm before I save myself a few bucks by purchasing my Fl Resident Discovery Day tix from AAA vs. Disney itself---

I believe I will get a voucher from AAA for the tickets (at least that's what I got in the past). Can I still attach a voucher to my MDE account and book my FP+ early (I am staying onsite)?

Some have said that they needed the actual TICKETS in order to input their numbers
if ordering from an authorized ticket reseller.

Why not just call a local "AAA South" office and see if you can pick up tickets?

I have bought from my local AAA South office before and received vouchers. Hmmm. I guess this might not be worth saving a few extra bucks. Hoping to hear some success stories.
