AAA: the start of the discounts!

What if you booked a land/sea package through a travel agent? My agent doesn't really look into further discounts once the trip is booked (he is not very good). Can i still find out and apply a AAA discount for May?

If you find a discount, call the TA and tell him to call Disney to apply it.
I have read here that if you go through a TA, then you yourself can't make changes. But your TA can, so just tell him to do so!

Ok, but if i can not call Disney myself, then how do I find out about AAA discounts for my package?

The value season at the YC starts on July 5th. We are staying that time and have already booked with a AAA rate. It is $273 for a standard room at the YC, taxes included. I think it works out to about $243-$245 before taxes. It's approximately 15% off the rack rate of $289.

I so glad I found Disboards! I just booked POR for 9/13-9/18/04 with a AAA discount on Friday. I though perhaps I was booking our trip too early, now I am really glad I did. This is our frist trip to Disney (DH, DS 8, DD's 7 & 3, and myself) and I too hope to find perhaps even greater discounts codes available before our trip At least I can have peice of mind knowing that I will not have to pay the rack rate.

smlev, did you try calling your travel agent, the one who booked the package for you, and tell him to check out the AAA price?

Or, you can call CRO and ask for information as if you do not already have a package booked. Just ask CRO, what would be the cost of such and such package with a AAA discount.
