Does anyone have a wonderful AAA TA in NJ. I want to start planning my 2007 trip but I want a TA that actually knows about Disney. Thanks!

What I did was fill out the form on AAA website for the Disney vacation and requested to have someone who had gone through the Disney College of Knowledge. A couple of days later a AAA travel agent contacted me via e-mail who had gone through Disney College. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Yes you can book through the them online and someone will contact you via e-mail. I am in the process of doing all this myself. I filled out their vacation form online on July 6, 06 and someone contacted me today and she is booking the basic package right now, which is just hotel only and free mini-golf, she will then add other components later when they come out. Going this way instead of room-only reservations is easier because if you book room only reservation you pay first night deposit, and when you change to a package, they refund you first night deposit, just to turn around and apply the $200 deposit for package. I've been reading on this disboard and seems the way to go.

Ok another question..If I book a room only reservation and if disney decides to offer free dining again can i change that room only to a package?

Yes you can change to free dining, if available, as long as you are changing before the 45 day window, if you change after that I believe there is a fee involved. The basic package, is a package, it just consists of only a room and free mini-golf, but can be upgraded to any other package available. I just booked the basic package today myself, so we are all set to go in February. I will change to another package when they come out. This just eliminates the transferring of deposits.

I used a ta not in my area with AAA and did everything with a toll free number and everything was wonderful she is located in williamsport pa if you wish i can send you her info! Good luck!
