Is it worth taking time away from the Magic Kingdom??

Has anyone done it? Should I bother making reservations?

Ihear it is nice we will do it when we go i know someone said you dontknow will be telling the story.:cool1: :cool1:

We enjoyed it! It only takes about 30 - 45 minutes and is a nice break from walking the park all day. The kids also got a lot of time with the character (we had Fairy Godmother) and she personalized her autograph to our dd which was nice.

We did this last year. Worked fine for DGS age 3 1/2 at the time. Not so well with DGD age 18 mos then. We had Aladdin read the story. He posed for pictures with the children after the story as well. I would do it again. It is cute in there. The problem with DGD was she wanted to play at all of the photo op locations in there. She just wanted to keep playing with those. It is the kind of thing where the children put their head through and you take a picture of them with their face as the character they are standing behind.

We've done it twice. Once we had Fairy Godmother and the other time we had Alice. We'll be doing it for our third time next week...so we'll see who we get!

It's a nice relaxing experience and certainly worth it. My oldest thing they're too "cool" but they enjoyed it anway. There are also some photo spots in the theatre that even my older kids like goofing around with before and after the show.

It only takes about half an hour or so. I'd do it for sure.

What is it? :confused3

We did it on our last trip, but didn't book through AAA this time. Its in a great location that's not only nice and cool giving you a great break - but the room has many cut outs of disney characters that provide great photo opts - we got some great pics here! We had Aladdin - he gathers the children on the floor and reads them a story. Then he poses for pics and autographs. I had scheduled this to be the first thing we did when we entered the park and it was just a really special way to start our day!

I have never heard of this - is it something that you get only if you book your trip through AAA? or is it available to AAA members?

For those asking what it is: If you book your trip through AAA, you'll get a voucher to attend a storytelling at the MK with a mystery character (we also got Aladdin). You have to make reservations (number is on the voucher). It's cute and only takes 30-40 minutes. DD really enjoyed it.

We have ressies to do this at the end of Sept. I think DD will like it!

We also had Aladdin. DS 5 and DD 3 absolutely loved it. You got to take your pictures with Aladdin afterward and you didn't feel rushed at all. He took the time to have personal conversations with each child. We would definitely do it again.

We'll be doing this our first day . . . . I have heard good things about it. DD loves books! She should really love this, especially since it's a face character!:lovestruc

IMO, I would schedule it. I think the cool air and photo opps would be a welcome break from the heat and crowds.

Can't believe we'll be there in less than 17 days!

We had the Fairy Godmother in June. She was fantastic. She spent time talking with each child alone, not just signing autographs and posing for pictures. They only let afew families in so it is not crowded at all.
