AAA room only question?

Okay, so I read that you can only book an entire package by going through AAA, but you can get the AAA room only discount through Disney. So if you book a room only with AAA discount through Disney can you add tickets and/or dining later and still retain that discount?

No, you would lose it. Adding tickets and dining will not work with a room only reservation. That reservation will have to be canceled and rebooked as a package because room onlys and packages are two different systems. You would get a refund of your deposit and have to make a new deposit.

Okay thanks...one more thing.... I also read that if I have a package booked that I CAN apply a room only discount if one comes out from Disney(of course it would only be applied to the room portion). Is this correct?

Yep, as long as your room type is included in the promotion and they have availability left under the promotion, they can add it easily when you call them.

Thanks! I guess that answers my question then. I guess I won't be getting any AAA discounts. I want to deal with my own reservation- so no AAA package, and I know I will end up getting a complete package so no AAA room only! I think I will just book and be hopeful for discounts from the mouse!
