Does anyone know what the AAA rates are for Pop for 5/27/06 - 6/2/06? What is the AAA rate for a MYW dining package-6 nights, 5 day park tickets for the same time period?

Thanks!

I just made ressies at ASP at $94.50 including the 13% resort tx. I don't know if AAA gives any breaks for the pk. deal but I am curious also. I thought if there was then I would change over.

AAA can only give a discount on the rooms -- Disney will not discount the tickets or meal plan. The catch is, if you want the AAA room rate and meal plan, you must book the package through AAA. It's part of the contract between Disney and AAA.

Does anyone have any idea of what the discount is for the package thru AAA? Are there cons to booking thru AAA vs. directly with Disney? Will AAA give me a quote if I'm not yet a AAA member? If the discount is good enough, then I'll be happy to join AAA.

Thanks for any guidance.

I am so excited!!! I never thought we'd ever actually get to go to WDW, but we just found out what our tax refund will be & its enough to pay for the trip!!!!Dreams really do come true! Just thought I would respond to this thread & share what my rate was booking through a AAA TA. I will say that my DH was NOT happy when I told him it was going to take the whole refund. I have come to hate that disney ad that says you can go for $1500. He thought he could do better, and only after trying to put together several packages of his own would he finally admit that I did the best I could. I mean, I know we COULD go cheaper, but it IS a once in a lifetime thing for us and we going to enjoy it...like it or not!! :rotfl:
Anyway...forgive my rant. Here's what I got...
Family of 5 (mom & dad, ds12, dd10, & dd6)
7 nights at POP (2 connecting rooms)Preferred
5 park hopper tickets with water park option
Dining plan (this I insisted we add)
Total: $4063
Now, this does not include airfare, but we are charging the trip (and then pay it off immediately) and will hopefully be able to trade in rewards and have enough to pay for 2 tickets.
And finally, I just cannot express my gratitude for all I've learned on these boards. Thank you so much for sharing the magic.

You might want to check out other resorts... I think some can accomodate 5 in a room & you may save money instead of getting two rooms... unless you want two rooms :)

Booked mod (CBR) thru AAA 5/14-5/19 2 standard rooms, 4 adults, 5 year old and 2 year old, hopper + dining $5600 includes air
Quoted value $5036
Quoted AK $6558
Quoted Swan $5706 (dining not available)
I think price went up on 5/20...regardless AAA was the best price I found :thumbsup2

POP 5/6-10 for $84 standard and preferred was $94.

I called AAA today about packages rates and was just about to call them back to confirm I could get connecting rooms through them but I see you did. I am also traveling with 3 kids close to the same ages as yours! The price for 2 rooms at all star music, 5 dining plan (3 adult/2 child) plus water park and hopper for 8 days and 8 nights was 4024.91. the disney price was 4293.39 with a difference of 268.00! However, it is a package which must be paid for now and I really like having a regular reservation but don't know if it is work over 250.00!

I booked at the Pop for 5-12 through 5-19 for $84.00 a night with AAA discount.

Just to let you know, that rate DOESN'T include tax - total with tax is $93/night. This is what CRO quoted me for May 12-14.

JFYI!!! :teeth:
