If you are interested in a room only rate, then you can call disney cro. If you are interested in getting a package then you need to get this through a AAA travel agent.

If you want to book room only and apply the AAA rate, call 1-800-828-0228. If you want a discount on a package, like the above poster has said, you'll have to go talk to a TA at your local office. They'll have to book it for you.

I called the Disney Reservation number - like you would for any room - booked my room at ASMU - and received 15% AAA discount. We going Feb 23-28, 2006.

Now - if I can only get a decent airfare from Detroit............nothing under $260.00 right now

My understanding is that you would get more discounted if you called a AAA agent; preferably one that was a Disney specialist. I used Kristin from these boards...don't have her info accessible at this time though.

THANK YOU so much. I just got my flight for $227 thru them. Yipipeee. I've been looking at Spirit for a week and missed out on a $194 - but they are all up to $333 now..........so thanks again.

AAA is an auto insurance company. You need a membership with them - and you then can receive a variety of discount offers - dining, hotels, etc.


Since I have AAA - I was able to ask for the discount when I made my room-only reservations. I saved 15% off of the rate for the room.

The AAA membership varies in $$ according to state. I live in OH and my membership is $55.00 per year. (general membership) The discount makes it worth the cost to join for us. You need to check first, because sometimes the AAA rate is not available for the resort or room type your looking for.
