I got the AAA rate for our next visit.
Arriving June 11 and departing June 20, 2005 (regular season) GVC Polynesian Resort $456.04 p/n (tax inclusive)--rack rate was $509.60 (tax inclusive) p/n.
I'm with the rest of you--watching for airfare (and I may have found that at around $200 p/p) and hoping for some AP rates that I can get this year (although I'll settle for any other discount bone WDW would like to toss my way
).
BTW, I had to insist to the CRO agent that the AAA rates for room only were out beyond 2004. She insisted they were not. She indicated (and she was very, very nice about it) that she had a little button on her computer that she could push to bring up AAA rates and they weren't out yet. When I started quoting rates to her, she said let me look for a code--she found it and admitted that the rates were indeed in the system. For some reason, however, the rates aren't showing when she toggled her AAA button. Go figure. . .she did thank me for giving her an education today!
Hopefully that will help someone else down the line.
