We have used the AAA rate about 4 times on past trips with the last time being our 2007 trip.

As we always go in June, sometimes the AAA discount is often the only discount.

I just called and spoke to a CM and she said in order to book the AAA discount I HAD to give her the AAA number. In the past they have allowed me to book without the number as long as I presented the card at checkin.

Is this something they have recently started or did I happen to run across a CM that just didn't know the facts.

My AAA membership has expired and I'm hesitant to rejoin as the disney trips are usually the only thing we use it for. I would hate to purchase it to book the discounted rates and then a better discount come out at the last minute and we would have paid for the membership.....

What is your experience with booking AAA discounts recently?

I have always been asked for the number when making reservations with Disney and sometimes when I am checking on the rates I am asked for the number.

I have always been asked my AAA number when making the ressie and again at check in

had to give my number both times. My membership expires tomorrow and both cast members told me to renew and bring the current card when I check in.
