AAA Rate for January 2006

I called as soon as the 2006 AAA rates came out but there was none available at FW for January. The CM tried numerous days and all levels of campsites but could not find any. She couldn't tell if they weren't released for Value Season at FW or if they were all gone already. Find it hard to believe that every date she checked in January was gone.

I was able to get it for my May trip but I was curious if anybody was able to get AAA discounts for the campground in January????

Just got off the phone with a nice CM who searched for a while and said they weren't loaded yet. She said she had been able to book some resorts at AAA today for 2006, but the campground had apparently not been loaded yet. She didn't know if that meant they wouldn't be available at all or were they just slow in getting them in the system. She said the only dates she has for the campground at AAA rates currently end Dec. 19, 2005. So I'll call back tomorrow.

They definately have AAA rates loaded for FW for 2006. I was able to get them for my May trip but couldn't get anything for January. I'm going to try again tomorrow.

Looks like we are neighbors.

Here's the total of what I've been told over three phone calls:

1. They aren't loaded for 2006 yet (known to be false)
2. They won't be available for campsites in 2006 AND weren't available for 2005 at the campsites (also known to be false)
3. There's a software glitch that has been giving them fits for three days and it might be fixed by Monday (this is the most plausible so far)

Whatever, I'll just keep trying.
