AAA rate at RP not available for 1 night only???

Yesterday I was on Universal's site checking availability for RP checking in on 9/1/05 and checking out on 9/2. First I didn't enter any code and it gave me a price of $199, standard room. Then I tried it with the AAA code and it came back with a price of about $175. After discussing the dates in mind with DH last night, I decided to try and book a room today. The AAA code does not come up as available today and when I called Universal, they told me AAA is not available for a one night stay!! Anyone ever hear of this before? I don't know why it came up as available yesterday on their website.

Also, AAA rate did come up for the same date at HRH, just not RP. Any advice for me? This will be our first time with Universal, so it's all new to me!! Thanks!

I have a AAA rate for one night at the Hard Rock. I booked through Loews 1 800 number (the Loews first number) 1 800 563-9711
try that.

Try again. Although our stay is going to be 4 nights. It took 3 calls before they bothered to "enter a special code" to find that AAA was available. I've read here alot that you should just keep trying. Different pople, different answers.

Thanks! I did try calling the Lowes first number and what I found out was that the rooms with the AAA rate for 9/1 at RP were all sold out, which probably explains why I saw it available one day then not the next. It didn't have anything to do with 1 night versus 2 or more nights. Guess I should have booked it when I first saw it!

I ended up getting HRH for 1 night (9/1), standard room for $183 AAA rate. Not as low as I was hoping for, but I figure I can keep an eye open for ENT rates and transfer the rate at that time. Any idea when ENT rates will open up?

I heard that they have come out in prior years anywhere from Mid-October to late November. I think there are many people here anxiously waiting for them. Me included!!
