AAA Question

Someone had posted the breakdown of the AAA discounts and I can't find it, can you repost or point me in the right direction? TIA

I believe it is a 10% discount on the room. I'm not sure about deals on packages, however.

According to the 2010 AAA WDW promotional booklet the AAA rate at all Value resorts regardless of time of year is 10%. The one exception being during Holiday Season from 12-17 to 12-31 in which there are no AAA reduced rates at Value Resorts.

For anyone else who might be interested:

AAA discounts for Moderate Resorts

Value season = 20%.
Regular season = 15%
Peak and Summer seasons = 10%
Holiday season = 0%

AAA discounts for Deluxe Villas

Value and Regular seasons = 20% (SSR and OKW = 25%)
Peak season = 10% (SSR and OKW = 15%)
Holiday season = 0%

AAA discounts for Deluxe Resorts

Value season = 15% (YC, BC, BWI = 20%)
Regular season = 10% (YC, BC, BWI = 15%)
Peak season = 10%
Holiday season = 0%

AAA discounts for FW Cabins and Campsites

Value season = 20%
Regular season = 15%
Peak season = 10%
Preholiday season = 20% (11-19 to 12-16, campsites only)
Holiday season = 0%

I am from australia and a member of the auto club out here. We have a card with the AAA mark and a show your card and save logo. Can I use this card to get the AAA rate and if I can do I book it directly with Disney? Thanks

You can either go thru AAA for packages or directly with disney for room only discounts

You can book directly from Disney.
We have an European AAA card and it was fully excepted when I called.

If you need to change a booking or cancel it is so easy to call Disney yourself.
The 10% discount is nice but when the 40% came along I changed the reservations right away.
