We are planning a trip to WDW in December and we were looking over a AAA brochure. We also went to the Disney web site and got some quotes. The AAA ran about $200 more. Is there any advantage to the AAA package over the Disney package that is worth $200?

I am booking my AAA package today (I got a quote on Friday) and it is $142 less to book through AAA and their insurance is $10 p/p less, and it is also including $25 Disney $$'s. Maybe it depends on what state you are in. :cheer2:

You have to read very carefully the components that you are booking when you go with AAA, because what they include does vary from location to location.

Your AAA quote SHOULD be less than Disney's quote, because they should be giving you a AAA rate on the room portion of your package. So if it's more, that means they're including additional things. (As someone mentioned, one possibility is travel insurance, they may have also included car, or airfare...)

The only downside is that I will not be getting free interest for using my Disney Visa card. I would only be eligible for that if I went through Disney Travel.
